Fossil of a prehistoric fish "Asialepidotus" and Keichousaurus hui, geological period: Middle to Upper Triassic (approx. 235-225 million years ago), Guizhou Province, southwest China (Guanling or Zhuganpo Formation); The fish has diamond-shaped ganoidscales and a strong caudal fin, indicating that it was a fast-swimming ray-finned fish, typical of the Triassic seas; the Guizhou dragon was a small marine reptile with a long neck and paddle-shaped limbs that was highly adapted to aquatic environments; What makes this fossil truly amazing is the fact that thefish physically overlaps the dragon, with its tail passing over the reptile's chest and its body protruding outward, this overlapping arrangement suggests that both animals died and were buried almost simultaneously, under conditions that prevented their remains from drifting apart or being picked up, ca. 2000 g,H./B. 26/18 cm Shocking intersection of time and space, Scientific name: Keichousaurus and bony fish
