Large table clock with a trumpeter in Bahnhäusle shape, Black Forest, around 1880, richly carved on a stylized base, probably formerly with at attachment, a three-sided gallery at the bottom, a large dial (three digits damaged), horn hands, underneath a double door for a fully sculptured carved and framed trumpeter (does not close properly - needs to be adjusted), two lateral carved sound doors backed with fabric, skeletonized brass plate movement, two large barrels, hook mechanism, trumpeter's half-hour call with strike on gong, trumpets intact, height 69 cm,condition of movement/housing 2-3, provenance:private collection Rhineland-Palatinate
