Large Bohemian reed organ with 8 melodies, around 1820, valve bar signed J. Prohaska,
wooden case with walnut veneer, thread and ribbon inlays made of mahogany and maple,
longside and lid with circular breakthrough work for better acoustics, pinned wooden
roller, roller can be moved, eight melodies: Viennese Blood (Strauss), Ein Gallop
(Magic Flute, Mozart), a mazurka, a polka, Scottish dance, agallop, a waltz and a
piece in 4/4 time, probably signed J. Prohaska on the valve base (only legible after
removal), crank drive intact, 27x61x30 cm, GZ 2; Provenance: from the Rhineland Palatinate
clocks/instruments collection, acquired in 2020 from the Albert Hörth collection
of mechanical musical instruments, Schwetzingen
