Mighty and heavy multicolored giant amber from Jambi (West Sumatra), Indonesia, approx.
23 million years old, perfectly cut unique stone, the extraordinary colors are due
to volcanic activities, in the history of their formation the amber deposits were
subject to high tectonic pressure and heat and ash particles, the molecular structure
was changedin such a way that they partly light up blue, especially under UV light,
the transparent parts show a wonderful orange-brown colour, finely branched, varied
light structures additionally refine the exceptional stone, wonderful exhibition
object, approx. 30x12x8cm, approx. 1000g, museum
