Three fossils of a Triassic marine reptile, Guizhou, China, the large plate remarkably preserves three Keichousaurus hui in close embrace, two adult individuals in a protective posture, their bodies intertwined with that of a juvenile animal; the skeletal structures are clearly visible - their slender necks arch in a gentle curve while their delicate finger bones seem frozen in a swimming motion, as if a fleeting moment 240 million years ago had suddenly crystallized in time; approx. 28 x 20 cm
