a sketchy landscape section is illustrated. The foothills of the Palatinate Forest,
the moving autumn leaves and the fleeting cloud train are brought to the appearance
in an equally volatile brush. H.-J. Imiela interprets the ripeness of the natural
event and the picturesque view in fateful parallelism to the approaching end of the
artist's existence
