Table clock, with a quarter-hour chime and the option to call up the so-called Viennese
chime, German, 18th century, embossed brass front, richly decorated with rocailles
and flowers, lined with sheet iron, brass numeral ring, time type. Pointer, under
number XII. Display pendulum, mass. Brass plate movement, beautifully turned movement
pillars, two large barrels, ext. Ratchet wheels, spindle gear attached at the top,
thread suspension of the pendulum, finely crafted large spindle wheel, strike on
the small bell every quarter of an hour, followed by strike on the large bell on
the hour by switching the hammer shaft, call- off option using a lever on the side,
so- called Viennese strike (to be revised), H. approx. 34cm, pendulum/key sec., movement
