| Beschreibung | Cigar press so-called Hart-Wickler, Karl Hart,Schwetzingen near Mannheim, around 1940, softwood housing, press molds made of beech, variously marked, including case number 34495,filled with 20 orig. Cigars, approx. 6.5x61x12cm; Karl Hart received the patent for a cigar press machine in 1908. With the tobacco industry supplier Hart & Hertel, he sold the cigar formers from Mannheim and, from 1911, from Schwetzingen. From 1937 onwards, Karl Hart operated under Karl Hart without his partner Hertel and reached the production number 30000 around 1940.
