| Beschreibung | Extensive collection of traditional costumes from a Hessian estate, mostly 1880 -1910 in 2 original. Saying - hood shop and accessories, scope: two holiday hoods with colorful embroidery, silk/satin with floral decoration and sequins, 6 hoods with black ribbons, so- called everyday/mourning hoods, partly embroidered, plus three small hats/hood parts,probably for children, two small, probably children's holiday hoods, with dense embroidery, 2 orig. Hooded drawer/chip boxes with educational sayings: "Zückersüss die Teufelsini, darum iss mein liebes Kind und Niemals wird von mir gebrochen, was ich einmal hab versprochen" age-appropriate damage and crack in the lid, with additions: 3 bridal/flower wreaths, various ribbons, age- appropriate original condition from decades ofcupboard storage, textiles dusty, partially stiff and signs of storage, no major cracks ormoth holes, flower wreaths with partially brittle and crushed flowers, chip boxes with signs of age, craquelure and cracks, not washed and not restored, estate from one source, the hoods were kept in this hood shop,Collectible ensemble for traditional costumes and folk art |
