| Beschreibung | Cassette by Marianne Brandt (1893-1983), Ruppel Works Gotha, metal painted black on theoutside and red on the inside, marked Ruppel on the bottom, traces of use, damage to the paintwork, approx. 11x 25.5x18.5cm. Marianne Brandt received her training at the Bauhaus Dessau in 1923-24 with Laszlo Moholny-Nagy, Wassily Kandinsky and Paul Klee. From 1928 sheheaded the metal workshop at the Bauhaus Dessau and from 1932 she was head of the design department at Ruppel-Werke Gotha for painted metal objects |
