Pair of swimming dinosaurs "Keichousaurus-Hui" (Nothosaurus on a plate, 32-20 cm,
Guizhou Province China, 220 million years old, perfectly preserved female 17 cm and
male 29 cm, delicate, beautiful details of the bone structure, fine pointed teeth
(fish trap teeth, for fishing), natural quartz veins run through the stone slab,
finely prepared in relief partly supplemented or redrawn in black; a genus of marine
reptiles from the family of pachypleurosaurs, which became extinct at the end of
the Triassic-Jurassic period; this duo is a rare snapshot and unique specimen of
the underwater world in prehistoric times as well as a rarity of two fossil forms
on the same plate, approx. 20x32 cm, museum, with certificate from the Teropoda House
of China |
