reference to the client, brownish patinated bronze, total. approx. 91.5 cm, from
private collection The recurring motif of the snail as a symbol of resurrection in
the oeuvre was also used in Rumpf's magnum opus of the bronze altar in St.Victor
Cathedral in Xanten
