Julius Adam II., 1852-1913 Munich, cat with three kittens in a wicker basket, oil/canvas,
right above 2x signed, approx. 22x27cm, on theback titled: Mother's Love, frame
approx. 32x38cm, Julius Adam was born into a family ofartists as the grandson of
the horse painter Albrecht Adam and the son of Julius Adam. Since the mid-1880s he
has painted almost exclusively cats, which earned him the nickname Katzenraffael
or also Katzenadam
